Intention: The “Project” of Experiential Learning
Instructions
In your journal or on your private blog page, answer the following questions. Be prepared to discuss these with your ED Manager.
Setting a clear intention helps to define the scope of the “project” of your learning. Just as in any generative creative project, setting parameters helps you begin to define your approach. During this course, you will regularly revisit your intentions and revise them to reflect new understanding and interest.
What is your intention in participating in this training?
What skills do you already have to support your students in creative and authentic experience based learning?
What skills do you wish to develop?
Putting aside all practical and professional requirements, write a vision for your ideal teaching practice. If you could teach anything to anyone in any way, how would you do it?
Find a quote/idea/image/art work/song/etc hat resonates with your intention and post it.
